About Montenegro

Montenegro gained its independence in 2006 and was the last of the old Yugoslav republics to do so.

It is by most accounts a stunningly beautiful country. It has a Mediterranean climate and is physically located in the south east of Europe between the Adriatic Sea to the south and Croatia and Serbia to north; it fosters the best of both worlds.

Boasting beautiful beaches on the Adriatic Sea and world renowned Ski resorts in the north. Definitely the place to be. From the Adriatic in the south, to the high country of the north, most major European capitals are within 2~3 hours flying time. London – Tivat connection recently started up on a daily service with more major European capitals now coming on line.

This is the heart of Europe both geographically and culturally. Montenegro has opened its doors and invited Europe to experience what the locals have held dear to their hearts for generations.

Montenegro offers her inhabitants a lay back lifestyle often void of the pressures of the everyday hustle and bustle of most large cities in the world. Yet offers them all the benefits that living in those cities may bring. Climate wise, the southern part of the country receives at least 8 months of sunny warm weather per anum with daytime winter temps usually around 15DEG. Despite the temperate climate just an hours drive from the Adriatic you can enjoy snow capped mountains and some of the best skiing Europe can offer.
